As much as we hate to let our Loverboy go, we have so many of his daughters that we have kept for future breedings we needed to adopt a new stud to avoid any inbreeding. Mike is 5 1/2 years old and has sired several litters with Sophie, Millie, and Babe. He averages 10-12 puppies per litter and is the father of our last litter of
Labre-Gold puppies (12) with Babe.
He is my best swimmer & would rather retrieve than eat, and he is a big eater @ almost 100 lbs. body weight, all muscle.
He needs lots of room to run and loves to swim in the Gulf or, any other body of water around.
Rumor has it,

He is 50% American Gold and 50% English Creme'. We have several of his progeny at our home and kennel here at Indian Pass,

: Sweet Sue is VERY bonded to me and yesterday, while I was on my Back-Hoe
transplanting a Palm tree,
Suddenly I felt a warm moist ? tongue ? on my right ear...(I'm blind on my right side)...
startled some what, I turned around and there was Sue licking my ear and cheek!
She had climbed up on the tractor and planted a big sloppy kiss on my ear...
Now that's real "Puppy Love".
How can I send her away if she like's me that much???
and besides, it's been probably over 30 years since I've had a sloppy tongue in my ear!
I think I need to keep her a little longer, don't you?
BUT
ON THE OTHER HAND:
I have decided to keep one of my Sophie's puppies, therefore,
"She who must be obeyed" has "trumped" my desire to also keep "Sweet Sue".
I'm only allowed to keep 10 adult dogs ... shucks...!
